Steve is a founding partner of the CorDeve group and is responsible for transaction sourcing, analysis and development, client relations and firm management.
Steve has more than 30 years of business sales, mergers and acquisitions experience that includes both buy and sell sides of transactions. Steve’s experience encompasses buyer and seller sourcing, business and financial analysis, valuation, negotiations, and deal structuring and execution.
Prior to his business sales and acquisitions activities, Steve was both a business owner and a vice-president of a commercial lending institution. Steve has a BA degree in economics and an MA degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
When not in the office, Steve can often be found on the ocean off Ventura’s coast paddling an outrigger canoe. Steve is an avid paddler and races canoes in California and Hawaii (He is the paddler in the green cap in the above photo).
Elaine is a founding partner of the CorDeve Group and is responsible for marketing, industry research, prospect sourcing, data base management and firm management.
Prior to CorDeve Group, Elaine had more than 25 years in corporate marketing, first in executive positions and subsequently in consulting. She has held the senior management positions of COO and vice-president for a leading west coast business magazine publisher, and director of marketing and business development for a leading medical equipment manufacturer. Her consulting clients have included companies in the medical, publishing, service and manufacturing industries.
Elaine holds a BS degree in biology and an MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing and finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
